Alisa Hauser Kraft is a freelance writer and former newspaper reporter for the Athens News, The Business Ledger, and Sun Publications.

Mrs. Kraft worked as a social rehabilitation counselor at the Trinity Services Behavioral Health program in Lockport, Illinois. She supported adults who were working on personal goals and daily living skills. Mrs. Kraft lives in Chicago with her husband, Murray.
