Dr. James E. Carr is a professor of psychology and chair of the behavior analysis graduate program at Western Michigan University. He has published widely on the behavioral treatment of developmental disabilities (including autism spectrum disorders and mental retardation) and Tourette Syndrome.
Dr. Carr is an associate editor of Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis and was the 2002 recipient of the B.F. Skinner New Researcher Award by Division 25 (Behavior Analysis) of the American Psychological Association.
Dr. Carr received his Ph.D. in 1996 from Florida State University and served on the faculty at University of Nevada-Reno from 1996 to 1999.
